There is chocolate, and then there is Artisan du Chocolat, and I know which one I prefer. Chocolates from Artisan du Chocolat are in a different league – beautifully crafted bits of heaven using only the finest of ingredients. Once you have tried them, you will know what I mean.

I love both the Squirrel glass jar filled with either gianduja almonds or hazelnut fig gianduja and the Reindeer Noses glass jar filled with milk chocolate malted cereal balls (brown and red), lovely gifts that the recipients can enjoy long after the chocolate have been eaten.

Maple syrup and salted caramel are two of my favourite things, so if you are stuck for a present for me, this one would be perfect: A box of Salted caramel truffles with real Canadian maple syrup, beautifully packed in a jar and box-wrapped in the Chimera design.

And then there is also the cane shaped presentation box filled with 12 truffles in seasonal flavours.
