Aspinal of London revealed is Spring/Summer 2018 collection at an exclusive event at London’s Claridge’s Hotel. With what looked like a full-sized steam locomotive bursting through one of the walls, the venue was transformed into a virtual train with guests invited to sit down in one of its compartment to enjoy champagne and cakes while watching the countryside whiz past outside the windows.
Celebrating the golden era and romance of luxury travel and the Grand European Tour of years gone by, Aspinal re-explores classic styles and introduces a beautiful new range of products with a nostalgic nod to the past. Staying with the luxury travel theme, one exclusive Aspinal of London collection is a collaboration in honour of the release of 20th Century Fox’s Murder on the Orient Express (in cinemas November). This lavish Hollywood retelling of Agatha Christie’s classic novel, starring Kenneth Branagh as Detective Hercule Poirot, as well as Johnny Depp as Ratchett, Penelope Cruiz as Pilar Estravados and Dame Judi Dench as Princess Dragomiroff, takes viewers on a lavish trip through Europe, which quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder on the iconic train.
