Summer must be right around the corner because next week Thursday sees the return of Skylight Rooftop at Tobacco Dock for its highly anticipated summer season, of lawn games, cocktails, street food, special events and fab views of the city’s skyline with spectacular sunsets (subject to availability) thrown in as a bonus.
Sit down in the large pergola and bar on the main level or book one of the new day-beds or garden booths for afternoon lounging amongst the greenery of platform bar, sip a Jalisco Sky, Raspberry Rum Margherita, Apple Sunrise or Gin Basil Spice or order a pitcher of the light and refreshing English Garden, Sky Tail and everybody’s summer favourite, Pimms (Sharps Offshore, Staropramen,
Wolf Rock IPA, Blue Moon and Aspal Cyder on tap, the full range of Bacardi spirits and Moët Hennessy Champagnes are also on offer) and enjoy freshly cooked street food from YIRO and Flipside. Participate in or just watch a game of croquet, pétanque or table tennis (outdoor and indoor) and look forward to watching sporting events like the FA Cup Final, Wimbledon and The Rugby World Cup on the big screen. As always there will also be DJs on a weekly rota for you to show off your best moves.
Look forward to a few special events like Hendricks Summer Solstice party (June 21), and themed events throughout the summer, like Gay Day at Skylight, Opera at Skylight and Dog Day.

Entry to Skylight is free, unless a ticketed event is specified and on a first-come-first-served basis.
