Not many words for this one, because we think the pictures speak for themselves. If you like your cocktails and want to have a great time the London Cocktail Week Village in Old Spitalfields Market is the place to go to this week.
Cocktails are (usually) just £5 if you have a LCW wristband (get one of those and a guide for £10 at the village or at the LCW hub in Soho’s Poland Street), but the village is open to everybody and a great place if you can’t decide which one of the 275 bars taking part across London you want to go to. You also get a chance to talk to the makers, from the big boys to the new kids on the block, and (sorry, bad pun alert) shakers and try some of the old favourites with a new twist or brand new cocktails like the carbonated alcoholic concoctions from the award winning Mr. Lyan, served in the SodaStream MIX Alchemy Lounge at the centre of the village. There are 32 bars and stands serving cocktails to keep you busy (you might have to plan several visits) plus The House of Angostura on the mezzanine level, where you can party every night of the week with DJs or just hang out in the kitchen.
So come on London – Drink Up!
