“Decadence” is the latest series by ‘Hollywood’s favourite photographer’ Tyler Shields, using a 50 year old 8 x 10 camera as well as various Hasselblad cameras. This tongue-in-cheek work was inspired by the court of Marie Antoinette. “I wanted to give my version of an inside look into what I imagine it would be like if you were able to take a photograph of The Court of The Palace of Versailles and Tuileries Palace, an intimate look inside one of the most fascinating times in history”.
His vision is brought to life by a cast of young Hollywood actors and models including Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Holland Roden, Isabelle Fuhrman, Lydia Hearst, Jaime King and Tallulah Willis.
Decadence is presented in collaboration with Imitate Modern and opens at Maddox Gallery on 4th February and runs until 24th February.
