RODNEY P & DJ SKITZ, RICHY AHMED, AND OMAR HEADLINE THE 2^ND ANNUAL LOUNGE ON THE LAKE FESTIVAL

 SEPTEMBER 2nd – 4th, 2016.

Lounge On The Lake, a three-day summer lakeside music festival headlined by some of the biggest stars in house music and UK Hip Hop, returns to the idyllic countryside of Sawbridge, Hertfordshire. Back for its second year after a successful debut, this magical end of summer celebration will be held Friday, September 2, Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2016. Tickets for the event are now on sale with early bird weekend and camping tickets at £59.00 and single day tickets starting at £40.00.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of rural Hertfordshire with the beautiful Redricks lake as its centerpiece, Lounge On The Lake is an alluring and magical event guaranteed to evoke ever-lasting memories. With an eye-catching line-up of DJ’s and live bands playing across three live areas, Lounge on the Lake is the place to end the summer on a high. Picture the melting sunset as it shimmers across the water and through the trees whilst basking in the most incredible underground music and live performance.

Bringing together a perfect cohesion of relaxation and partying, Lounge On The Lake hosts an eclectic variety of musical disciplines, family entertainment and international cuisine. With something for everyone, this is the people’s party and those in attendance can expect nothing but beats, love and good vibes.

Pioneers of the UK Hip Hop scene, lyricist Rodney P and DJ Skitz have been tearing up the dance since the late eighties. Starting out with legendary group London Posse, Rodney P, AKA Da Riddim Killa met DJ Skitz in the early nineties. The pair went on to present their infamous ‘Original Fever’ show on BBC 1Xtra and collaborate on numerous tracks, alongside the likes of Roots Manuva & Skinnyman. The duo are our very special headliners at Lounge On The Lake.

Firmly established as one of the top DJ’s at the forefront of house music, Richy Ahmed has consistently redefined the scene. As a major force in the renaissance of British house in recent years Richy will ensure a lake rippling performance not to be missed.

Surrounded by nature, this intimate gathering wouldn’t be complete without our live performers. Acts such as Eden & The Aftermath and Lois and the Love ensure a well-rounded musical variety, bringing on-stage chemistry, powerful vocals and string harmonies that will get you moshing and melting in equal measures.

Other activities and highlights include Boutique Camping, Secret 80’s Cocktail Club, Pop-Up Casino, massage areas , holistic therapies and Yoga.  World food will be available throughout the site and on-site facilities include toilets and showers. On-site parking is provided and shuttle services will be available from Harlow station.
