Nancy Dell’Olio launches new drink Limonbello at The Club at The Ivy

Lawyer and entrepreneur Nancy Dell’Olio this week launched her brand new drink, Limonbello – a reinvented take on the classic Italian liqueur, limoncello.
Speaking at the event, which was hosted at The Club at The Ivy, Nancy said: “It’s been absolutely wonderful having my closest friends, business associates and members of the hospitality industry here with me at the Club at The Ivy to celebrate the launch of Limonbello. Limonbello is my passion and I have dedicated so much time to refining the recipe and creating a beautiful brand. I can’t wait till it is available for everyone to enjoy!”

Guests at the lavish bash enjoyed an intriguing mix of canapes, including crispy duck rolls, tandoori chicken and parmesan fried courgettes. They also sampled a selection of Limonbello cocktails including Limonbello Mojitos and Limonsecco – a decadent mix of Limonbello and Prosecco.

Limonbello was created from an old family recipe, which has been in Nancy’s family for generations. Nancy continued, “It was so important to me to incorporate my family’s heritage into the drink – I remember as a child watching my grandmother juicing lemons for her top-secret recipe. I have now been able to bring that secret recipe to Limonbello! It was important to me ensure Limonbello is sugar-free, as there is so much sugar in the modern day diet. Limonbello is definitely a treat for the conscientious drinker!”

Limonbello is sweetened only with natural agave syrup and is the only sugar-free limoncello on the market. The drink is also alkaline which, combined with its lack of sugar, Nancy hopes will lead to less of a hangover after a night of a responsible consumption.

Limonbello will be stocked exclusively at Fortnum & Mason from 1st August and is available to purchase from
