Aspinal of London – LFW SS17 Presentation

Aspinal of London showcased their new collections during London Fashion Week at The Ballroom, Claridge’s.

For Spring Summer ‘17, Aspinal of London celebrates its relationship with London, playfully exploring Aspinal classics whilst seeking inspiration from the residential rainbows hidden within the colourful capital’s iconic and unique series of village communities, from Wimbledon to leafy Primrose Hill, hipster Hackney to Hampstead, Notting Hill to metropolitan Marylebone, and it is these characterful and creative areas that provide the inspiration for the season’s rich and diverse collection. The colour palette is summery, fresh and eternally elegant with pastels and a hint of sparkle, exotic prints and romantic florals, capturing the essence of London’s vibrant villages and the diversity of the Londoners who live there.

The Dockery Collection, a design collaboration with British actress Michelle Dockery, is a beautiful series of bags and scarves that evoke timeless classics; vintage but with a fresh, contemporary twist. The collection features bags in two silhouettes, both in small and large sizes and  nine colourways. The colour palette includes tones of soft feminine chanterelle, a sultry, dusky pink accented with soft taupe, a distinctive peacock blue and Aspinal’s iconic deep shine Bordeaux and jet-black vintage croc. The bags can be worn anywhere, day or night, and are the perfect choice for the sophisticated and stylish woman of today.

Peggy Porschen Cakes of Belgravia supplied delicious cakes and pretty pastel coloured flower-decorated cupcakes and meringues for guests, served with coffee and tea and, of course, champagne.
