Nina Naustdal took over the Playboy Club in London’s Mayfair to launch not just one but three collections – Couture AW17/18, Black Collection AW17/18 and Ready-to-Wear SS18 – during London Fashion Week.
The evening was hosted by Lizzie Cundy, who welcomed the guests and presented the fashion show. Nina Naustdal wore a beautiful yellow dress from her own collection combined with luxurious jewellery from Tresor Paris.
After a drinks and a canapé reception, sponsored by 808 and Three Sixty Vodka, guests were entertained by dancer Joy Nafeesah, upcoming RnB & Soul singer Tanika and DJ Pjay. Vicky Mana sang during the catwalk show and Nikola Kovacevic played the saxophone.
The Read-to-Wear collection was inspired by floral designs and colour patterns of the Far East; loose fitting full-arm sleeves, intricate decoupage and floral motifs on free flowing crepe and organza materials, structured by bows and tied waistlines.

The Couture and Black Collections have this season been heavily influenced by Victorian fashion; form fitting shapes juxtapositioned with exaggerated balloon sleeves and contrasts created through the use of frills, accentuated midriffs and plunging necklines.
