Here’s your chance to win a DVD of the enchanting 1980s BBC adaptation of family favourite Tom’s Midnight Garden, courtesy of London-Olios and Second Sight Films.

Tom Long (Jeremy Rampling), is sent to stay with his aunt and uncle for the summer when his brother is taken ill with measles, but soon gets bored. Then, one night when he can’t sleep, he hears the old grandfather clock in the hall strike thirteen. Tom is curious and goes downstairs to investigate, and when he opens the door, he finds himself magically transported back in time to a Victorian garden and an incredible adventure with a new-found friend – Hatty (Caroline Waldron).

Based on of the much-loved classic novel by Philippa Pearce, this charming six-part series is out on DVD now, complete with a fascinating new special feature: A Look Back with Director Christine Secombe.
