The Kalissi Roial AW19 collection was inspired by the Austrian opulent imperial times, ‘kaiserlich’ and ‘königlich’. The collection donned rich details such as pearls and ruffles, juxtaposed by contemporary shapes and bright, youthful colours. Hrdlicka’s use of bold colours and nostalgic silhouettes celebrate iconic trends and yet, give a new take on the familiar.

Christina Hrdlicka, the founder and designer of Kalissi found the brand somewhere between Vienna and London in 2018. Hrdlicka gained vast experience within the fashion industry, focusing on conceptual art direction. The trademark aesthetic for Kalissi is due in part to her eclectic mix of creative roles, showing her love of textiles and graphic design in her newest collection. Christina’s use of playful details and confident fabrics stem from a vast background that have brought together this season’s collection Roial, which showed at this seasons London Fashion Week in conjunction with Fashion Scout.
The combination of quality materials, perfect fit, and unique design gives Kalissi its signature look. The brand has many loyal customers who praise the brand for their ability to give a complete outfit, and put an end to searching for matching items.
The clothes and accessories are all handcrafted in the “designer’s studio” in Vienna, Austria, which provides the attention to detail necessary for each piece to be as unique and special as the last.
